It was fun and then I had to fight the final boss and it didn't make any sense and was garbage.
So I finally got round to playing and finishing this game and I still don't know what the fuss was about.
People keep mentioning the graphics. Honestly I think they were mediocre. The environment felt extremely static and overall graphical quality was nothing special.
The gameplay, while satisfying at first quickly becames repedetive and boring as certain rune combinations locked me into an overly simplistic playstyle. Where I would kill a few enemies and move on to the next arena.
The story was nothing special either. The world ID built felt empty and not particularly fleshed out. Samuel wanted to make enemies and the old lady was tricked by the demons and you kill the demons. The end.
Honestly it wasn't bad. But it was so mediocre I cant even recommend it at its discount price. Sure it was fun. But not 45 bucks of fun.
Wolfenstein New Order, however, was a masterpiece. Please buy it and pray for a sequel.

Why do RPG developers try as hard as they can to make sure magic sucks? Why would I want to roleplay as a knight wearing heavy armor and swords? I want to do magic, but in every game I play magicians are the worst class.

Why is this game so hard? Dark Souls 3 onPC was piss easy compared to this.

dark souls 3 is piss easy because bosses/enemies had to be balanced around the now garbage faith/magic

Nuclear throne is faster and harder, enemies are less spongy but deal a lot of damage. You dont really unlock a lot of things.
Enter the gungeon has shitty drop rate for high level guns and the bosses take a lot of damage and are more bullet-helly, this is more similiar to isaac in unlocking guns
