Blizzard didn't even make Diablo 1 or 2, they were both from Blizzard North which is some other company Blizzard bought and renamed. All they've done with Diablo is leech on other people's work and then shit out an inferior knockoff.
Diablo 3 is entering maintenance mode. All the content that will be created for it, has been created for it. They are now trickling out that content in the final seasons till its all finally released. We've known this for months.
We've known Josh Mosqueira was leaving for MONTHS too.
On the flip side they were hiring conceptual artists for a Diablo game late last year, and it didn't look like it was going to be a new expansion.

The early movie spoilers say the story is apparently highly political and morally gray. Considering how Japan is generally plagued with waifufaggotry and high-school shit, it's already doing something very unusual.
It'll most likely be the first game to do open world corecctly and do it in a meaningful way. If the vibe and pacing I got from Duscae is the main game then it'll be a joy just traversing the plains and doing the missions and side stuff.
All I can think about is what they havent showed and I hope there some surprises
