Ground Zeroes actually felt like a Metal Gear game. Phantom Pain somehow managed to carry over all of the game mechanics and still feel nothing like Metal Gear.

A PC is only as powerful as its weakest component, which in my case is my GPU. No matter how good my CPU is it won't make games run any better until I get a better graphics card, so I have some leftover processing power I wanna use

I do not. I think it has a few incredible and memorable moments, but the actual gameplay is shit. Shit boss fights, repetitive and bland level design, way too much backtracking, literal underwater escort missions, the katana controls sucked.
I like talking about it and seeing some of its shit on youtube, but I'll never play it again.
Anyone play this yet? Thoughts?

Power and challenge are on a continuum.
If you don't compromise Superman's power, he's a poor character because he's can only lose due to creative schemes that cannot be generated emergently.
The best idea ever made for a Superman game was one where you yourself are the invincible man of steel and your "health" is the health of the city and its people.
There's a few other ways to go about it, but there's very little fun to be had being a flying brick. I could have just activated cheats in any other game for that.

If you throw out the health bar entirely and just have bad shit constantly happening with no way to stop every crime or save every life you might have a fair shot at a faggy art game.
Good Superman stories aren't a question of power, it's a question of morality, a question of control, like gun or any other sort of control, you have this supernatural being capable of great feats, but he isn't one of you, he isn't human, so what should he be able to do?
It would have to be a character based thing.
