Personally I can't help but being excited yet nervous. I don't want this to fail or end up looking like nothing out of this trailer. I'm a major fan of exactly this type of shit. Is there a chance of this not working out?

I dig the idea and looks of the game.
The open-ended action adventure sounds neat as an idea too. Since they've not shown much action, it has a good chance of not becoming just another shooter, no matter that they demonstrated that meat gun.

It's on a "grand" scale.
You can minutely micro-manage everything except battle. Then it's just a matter of sending an icon with a larger number attached to it against another icon.
A huge map, a very long campaign, a ton of different mechanics, they usually have a very steep learning curve. The fun for me comes from setting your own goals you want to achieve and using all the different mechanics together to accomplish it.
Its a big step up from AeE2.

Playing Transformers: Devastation right now
I think The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto A Billion, and every other open world pseudo-rpg or third person shooter are all samey boring bullshit. It seems like Platinum, indie developers,and occasionally Nintendoare the only people who can make good games now.
Metal Gear Solid V looks decent, though. Lots of fun items and mechanics, even if it has an open world for literally no reason.
Can't wait for the open world meme to end.
