Ground Zeroes actually felt like a Metal Gear game. Phantom Pain somehow managed to carry over all of the game mechanics and still feel nothing like Metal Gear.

Are there any spoilers or references in Ground Zeroes? I really want to try it, but the only other MGS games I've played were 1-3.
GZ set Skullface up as if he's going to be a real bad ass villian but once you find out his true motives in TPP it turned out to be a huge let down.
