I have played countless online games that allow you to add people after the match. Not once (other than in MMOs) have any of them bothered to play with me again unless I personally invite them AND write an essay on how great it'd be to have another great match.

BC2 is a very simple game on the surface. You have to sacrifice perks for weapon attachments and this leads to greater balance. It also has nearly complete destructible environment. The explosions were huge and fun to cause. And the game didn't take itself seriously, and this led to nice dialogue in the game. I also enjoy shooting the weapons in BC2 as they all feel fun and powerful in their own way.
