Tl;dr: /lgbt/'s trying to make /pol/ go with them, so /pol/ is trying to get /x/ so they don't have to (even though /x/ asked us weeks ago and we accepted). /pol/'s justifications for this range from "BUT /V/ HAS NOTHING IN COMMON WITH /x/" (false; horror games and vidya creepypastas) to "EBOLA-CHAN IS OUR DAUGHTER" (true, but it doesn't mean they get first dibs).
The contest was made as a way to decide once and for all who gets to go with /x/ (probably by /pol/ since /x/+/v/ were already official before they started shitting it up). We're not going to back down, so we're in this for the long haul. It ends on October 20th.
