Even Intel messed up the first time when moving to 14nm and we are talking about Intel who is bigger than both AMD and Nvidia combined and the owner of the most advanced 14nm process node in the planet Earth.
Also it was a bad idea to release the mid range chipset first, Nvidia could figure out what kind of performance they were going to offer even before the 480 was released to reviewers and now they are going to match with the 1060.

Vanquish, the most repetitive game I've ever played, play the first 10 minutes and you've experienced everything the game has to offer.
In fact, almost everything I've played by Kamiya excluding DMC fits this.
I will never understand his appeal. All his games find 1 gameplay gimmick and then make that the entire core of the game, then stretch it out to 5 hours long and sell it full priced.

So PD2 is nearing the end of its current free weekend on Steam, is it worth playing? Some time ago I heard there was a big stink about microtransactions or some shit.
Don't bother. The game was fucking fantastic around 2014 autumn. However it has only gone down a slippery slope afterwards and is only a shadow of its former self.

MS wasn't necessarily the problem, it was a mix of things including a complete change in the production models of the industry. Viva Pinata is still one of their best games imo.

As someone who had a LOT of fun with Dark Souls 1 and went to First Sin after, I would highly recommend skipping First Sin and playing 3 if you don't care about skipping games.

Ultimately comes down to bad map design. Modern Warfare 2 had it just about right. Big levels, lots of terrain, lots of "play areas" where firefights would tend to magnetize towards. The best sniper levels of any CoD to date, reasonable spawn algorithms though the gun balance was a bit off.
Now it's all fucking tiny ass arena shooter levels for ants and fucking retarded killstreaks and SMGs everywhere. CoD sucked fucking ass after 3 and that includes Black Ops, every single iteration.
