The only thing THAW did wrong was the tutorial. Beyond that, it brought the story back to becoming a skating legend and all other skating-related shenanigans.
Plus, it's pretty much the only game with functional BMX stuff since Dave Mirra Freestyle 2.
Could indie devs PLEASE stop using the Famicom color palettes? The colors are garish.

I'm fine with the animations and sprites. The colors are garish though. Famicom had shit colors. The next gen is when colors got great.

I just finished playing the first two games and Off The Record. I'm going to get it no matter what but I want to know what I should expect.

If your computer can handle it, it is a pretty enjoyable game.
Ridiculously easy compared to 1 and 2, in my opinion. But still fun regardless

They're all really great RPGs, but I would not recommend the PS1 version of FF6. The load times are terrible. I would suggest emulating the GBA version with the patch to improve the sound.
