Damage across the board is reduced based on your difficulty setting. You should play on Master if you want a more realistic experience, headshots being a 1 hit kill in most cases for example

Play on Master difficulty, actually aim down the iron sights (disable crosshair), first couple of weapons are pretty shit so hang on and crouch/low crouch to increase your accuracy. And if you have a full automatic weapon, switch to single fire mode and only use taps.

Also, this is the best online FPS ever released, the gameplay is perfect, the weapons and classes are almost perfectly balanced, and every game becomes a complex strategy of expanding your frontline while not being taken by surprise from behind. Marines pushing your resource nodes in one big death ball? Run past them and kill their undefended base. Aliens all went onos? Grab some jetpacks and fly away from them while focus-firing them down.

It's a shame that the playercount died because new players would swarm in on free weekends pissing off all of the regular players leading to them getting an awful first look at the game. When you get two equal teams which don't steamroll the game is perfect.

The jump animation is pretty good, but goddamn does that force lightning look so nerf-tier weak. Like goddamn, its Sidious, at least at a few more fucking particle effects or something. I want to see big streaks of lightning, not the first tier of force shock from Kotor II.
