What's a good headset for gaming /v/?
Things like sound quality (for music), mic quality and being able to pinpoint where sounds are coming from is key.
I've been looking at Audio Technica ATH-ADG1 which seem pretty interesting. Any other suggestions?

PC gaming was revitalized in the latter years of the 360 and PS3 when everything was in Unreal Engine and easily ported, but now it's right back to bad console ports again.

1257 AD is a must I reckon.
Brytenwalda is good too, set in the Dark Ages. However, while historically interesting, spears were a core part of warfare at the time, and gameplay-wise I find it a little tedious. Not just this mod, but the Last Kingdom mod for MTW2 as well. Just got bored of watching levies stab at eachother for Christ knows how long.
I'm sure there are others. I'm not actually all that well versed on the mods, and haven't played the game in a while. Alas, my two cents.
Eagle and Radiant Cross is dope. Was my first mod when I started getting into the modding scene in Warband. Has some neat lore going for it.
L'Aigle is a single player mod set during the Napoleonic Wars. Shit's cash but the melee can kind of be garbage.
Game of Thrones(Clash of Kings) is alright if you're into that kind of stuff. Has Freelancer with it so you can just be a foot soldier in someone's army instead of going off to become a lord. In fact, I'd say find mods that have Freelancer with them by default since that helps with early game in any mod.
Warsword Conquest is the Warhammer Fantasy mod for Warband. Models are kinda wonky at times but you can play as any race available. Chaos wrecks shit usually.
Gekokujo if you like Japan.
NW is alright, but the community is shit and pretty much dying off due to a lack of updates.
c-RPG can be pretty fun but you'll get your shit destroyed early on. Have fun hiding as a peasant for your first few matches until you can afford some actual weapons and armor.

I dunno about GOAT, but Gekokujo is pretty good. There's also "GekokujoNew" which is supposedly better, but that may be outdated and I wonder if it was really ever better.
One thing, though, I much prefer the pre-2.0 musicbecause it's all Touhou, ESPECIALLY the travelling music. Floating Cloud is a miracle.

A list of problems howerver.
All official Japanese AoT games that have been teased or released are complete trash or really repetitive easy games. Examples are the 3DS game and the Ps4 game that looks to have the exact same gameplay.
There are only 2 good AOT games in existance. The first of which is AOTTG (attack on titan tribute game) that was around 2 years ago. The community has died up and is almost dead since the game hasnt seen any new content in ages (hopefully when S2 starts). It's Gameplay is wonderful though, very challenging and rewarding to be good at. Thats why i played it for so damn long.
The second good game is still in developement by a guy named Guedin. He has worked for Ubisoft Montreal as a 3D artist and made up an Eren model for fun. Later he made hooking mechanincs and so far his gameplay is on point with good titanmodels and nice looking hooking system similiar to AOTTG but more fast paced (which is good imo concidering the shows fast pace)

Nobody was really talking about it anymore, until Sony came out with the 4th game announcement and the money-grabbing trilogy, but I guess that now it's the moment to seriously talk about the Uncharted games.
I personally think that they're fuckin' overrated, I mean, I'm not saying that they're that bad, but they're just average TPSs, pumped up with AAA graphics and cinematic cutscenes to cover up the poor gameplay that's at the core of them.
Nevertheless, gaming reviewers (maybe with a little help from $ony's cash) praised them as masterpieces, as if they were something unique and revolutionary. Expecially Uncharted 3 (which imo is the worst of all) has been critically hyper-acclaimed, although it's nothing special, as I said before just a mediocre TPS (1 and 2 are average/nice imo) with also too much QTEs.
Don't you also think that this saga got too much praise for what it's worth?

It would be irredeemable if it were not for Witcher 3, Splatoon and Xenoblade X. Maybe that Persona FES crossover too but it's too early to tell yet. 2016 will probably be shit.
