I find it hilarious when Sonic Adventure fans ask for "Sonic Adventure 3" when Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 06 were SA3 and SA4. same shitty subplots with the president and G.U.N. same shitty gameplay. same awkward story. Sonic 06 and Shadow the Hedgehog were the sequels to Adventure no matter how much you don't want them to be.

Heroes was close with the different groups and interwoven storylines but the gameplay was all the same unlike SA1&2

This game is so good /v/ like really good. I would even go so far as to say it's Sega Genesis Sonic era good. Do you agree? Why has Sega gone full retard and haven't continue to make games like Sonic Generations. Instead we get that mediocre mess known as Sonic Lost World and don't even get me started on Sonic Boom (I know Sonic Team didn't make it but Sega still signed off on it)
I just want my favorite childhood video game series to be great again. That's all I ask

No, the physics/momentum is shit.
Yea I know the feeling. I loved Generations. Not Genesis era I'd say but close, certainly Sonic's best 3D outing to date. The fan service and the nostalgia was just incredible. Also that soundtrack (pic related).
When it's good, it's really fucking great (Rooftop Run Modern is one of the most perfect platformer levels in recent memory), but it's like half a good game where there's these shitty boss and 2D levels that have no flow. Plus, they really need to kill some of the crazy amount of moves Sonic gets, a lot of it feels very superfluous.
