It's the anniversary (Nov 16th 2004) of the release of Bloodlines. Why aren't you playing that Malkavian/Nosferatu run?
>>316805558
Eagerly awaiting news from Paradox/Obsidian.
>>316805558
Because it's incredibly difficult to find a full, clean, and patched version of the game for some damn reason
>>316805558
Because I've already done both.
>Fatal Frame V for Wii U gets a digital release
>Nintendo listens to fan complaints and decide to do absolutely nothing
>Censoring virtually every game
>Gravity Rush for PS4 gets a digital release
>Sony listens to fan complaints and decide to do a retail release
>Hardly censor their games
Why do we hate Sony again?
>>316805338
>Paid online
>No real BC
No thanks
>>316805338
You haven't heard right? Sony consoles are being used as means of communication for terrorist organizations.
>>316805435
I still have my PS3.
Why is BC that big of a deal?
Can we all take the time to appreciate how fucking epic Warhammer40k is? Where else do you see Space orks thst speak in Cockney english?
>an entire series made by "that kid"
>>316805191
>epic
and
>doesn't take itself too seriously
Are two separate matters. Unfortunately, as of late, GW seems to be forgetting the latter and focusing entirely on the former.
>>316805273
>"that kid" made a series about the regular human being a more worthless resource than the gun in his hands and dies by the billions every day just to hold onto what land they can against the much stronger xeno threats
Sure thing, pal.
Why is Durotan working with the humans? Why is Dalaran floating pre-Wotlk? Why is Thrall getting mosed away instead of getting found among the bodies of his dead parents? Why is the king going "lets unite" when Stormwind was all alone during the first war? Why is Orgrim talking to Durotan when Durotan was exiled at the very start of the first war? Why is Durotan even in this war? Why is Durotan and Lother even meeting?
What the fuck man?
>failure
None of that shit matters to the casual moviegoer or the average WoW player right now.
>Implying the lore would stay intact.
This movie is for casuals and WoW fans. Don't get worked up OP you'll be happier that way.
>>316803908
>giving a shit about any of that
Nobody actually fucking cares, and will watch it anyway. Stay mad wowfag.
I normally don't give two shits about censorship, but this is extremely hypocritical.
>>316801134
>3d game
>only 800k budget
it's going to be shit and they know it.
>>316801134
it's like you have no idea who is responsible for doing what, or what even constitutes censorship!
which was always pretty obvious about all these retards crying about censorship, but it's nice to have it out in the open .
>>316801134
Nintendo isn't involved in that game at all so how is it hypocritical?
Dark Souls 1
>Difficult curve to the game, but fun after understanding the basic mechanics it provides a great experience
>Armor serves a purpose
>Enemies can occasionally be difficult, but dying to them is not unfair
>PvP is backstabs and learning how to counter those
Dark Souls 2
>Everything but end-game sucks cock
>Rolling doesn't work, period
>PvE...

DS pvp is and always will be shit in every game
>>316800647
So you like one game better than the other, thats ok but what was the point of this thread
>Dark Souls 1
>implying it doesn't have shockwaves
>or shitty hitboxes
>PVP is DGR backstep fests
>Buffing 8 different things
>You can't stack buffs
You can't hide your ignorance
Did America ruin videogames?
American publishers did.
>>316800646
The joke is feminist will call out the games above as sexist and the females as whatever sluts not stronk enough.
What do the games below feature?
Literally no females because of fear feminist are going to jump on you.
Well except GTA 5 random street sluts and Last of us es daughteru
You can complain about the generic protags all you want but that doesn't really say anything about the games they are in, it's just a reflection of the industry as a whole that they go for the most inoffensive stereotype as their main character rather than take risks.
>[sad whimper]
How does it make you feel seeing Dogmeat in pain? ;(
>>316799728
bitch can't even die. I shot him fifteen times in the head when i saw him at the gas station and he wouldn't even fucking flinch.
Pretty good, fuck dogs.
>>316799843
Companions can't die.
I just use them as bait while I kill the enemies.
Are you a good pirate?
>>316799386
I don't know how to torrent and/or how to make sure I don't seed in cases where that's something I can't/shouldn't do.
So I don't really do that much, and when I do its on non-torrenting sites. I like buying my games anyways.
I do.
Why would I give back? Hanging around for longer than needed doesn't sound like something a pirate would do.
+Mobility+
BO3 isn't designed around the advanced movement at all. Jumping and boosting always had purpose in AW because you could juke and get up to higher ground, it was unpredictable and made every firefight a more complex exchange of decisions on both sides. In BO3, jump boosting is more like jetpacking in Tribes, it's parabolic and predictable which just makes you an easy target, and since there's barely any high ground to actually reach with it, the mechanic is functionally worthless.
Wall running doesn't serve a purpose. Wall running towards an enemy is just as stupid as running along the ground towards an enemy, it doesn't make you a harder target and only makes it more difficult for you to aim. If they wanted to bring back and refine the horizontal game, they should have gave more ground-based mobility instead of forcing you into the air for no tactical advantage.
+Maps+
The maps are the worst they could be, basically. There's no flow. They're just 2 sides with this back and forth spawn system. You can hold the middle of the map and just camp out their spawn, which is just forward about 40 yards, but you'll probably get flanked or spawned behind, because the power positions aren't actually powerful.. just an inherent advantage over the forced laning.
Thus, it's implausible to play perfectly. The maps are so small that you can hold a position or advance on a position, but their whole team spawns together, and they can technically be back in that position from the only other side before you finish off that original standoff. That describes more than just getting in their spawn. It's hectic, not strategic. There are too many cross positions and entryways everywhere. It's a shallow convergence from 10yds. over for some respawns as well, because the maps are so tiny (narrow).
1/2
>>316798725
+Mechanics+
Specialist is non-competitive and non-skillful. They're just free. Stuns completely disallow movement, basically. The maps are too small for that, and it's an awful mechanic anyway. There's still random cone spread, even on shotguns. There's still prone blocked.
+Overall+
The game could be decent with better maps, but not great. As is, though, with the maps all being the exact same, and how they are, there's only really a single playstyle. Everything strategic...

Enjoying good games
Let's have an Advance Wars thread /v/
>tfw found my old Nintendo DS yesterday with AW: Days of Ruin still in it from like 5 years ago and I've been playing it like a motherfucker
I never did beat the campaign, maybe it's time to cross that off my list for good. I also forgot how dank the soundtrack was
never cleared mission 26
>>316797830
the nest claims all weak souls good luck
>>316797830
days of ruin was shit. The fucking edgy dark graphics this game tried to push, and the sprites being pixelated as fuck because 'depth' in the battles, fuck that shit.
Dual Strike is where it's at.
How do you feel about women on the cover of sports games?
I generally don't like, but Ronda Rousey is "a once EVER" athlete, so I guess I'm cool with this.
>>316797667
I like it. Shows that gaming is maturing and that devs actually listen to legit complains from the community.
>>316797667
Rousey is great so no problem
>>316797667
got BTFO
Prove that Undertale isn't just a big meme game and only appreciated for the characters.
I just started playing it two days ago, but I just like it because the bullet hell parts are pretty clever. It's also funny.
anon, everyone knows it is. tumblrina faggots in undertale threads always pretend the game isn't full of memes and progressive bullshit.
>>316796702
Its only generated one meme, which is kind of a failure for a meme game.
In light of the recent tragedy, what's /v/'s opinion on the jackass video game? Is it worth 3 dollars?
No.
What tragedy?
It's a great collection of mini-games with an interesting "injury" mechanic. I'd say it's worth 3 bucks.
