That's impossible. Portal 2 takes place hundreds of years after the events of the HL2 trilogy. GLaDOS is present in that game and the Borealis is still missing.

I don't find it boring. There's a wealth of shit to do around the map and the core mechanics (driving/combat) are better than pretty much any other game. More interiors would be cool though
