I wasn't, in fact I've never played FFVII before but I'm still annoyed. I never liked this whole episode business model so fuck them for picking it up on a JRPG of all genres. RE Revelations 2 was just the beginning and it'll probably infect to the rest of the Japanese vidya market like DLC.
