I don't get it, /v/.
I've been playing for just a few hours and suddenly I can use fully evolved lv50+ Pokemon in my team. Why wouldn't I just use them for every mission? I just tried a dungeon with Alakazam, Salamence and Tyranitar, and life is a thousand times easier.
Am I missing something?
Is it just going to make life harder in some kind of mandatory story mission where you're forced to play as your starter or something?
They fuck off for a few missions if their level is way above yours

Didn't think I would and expected I'd refund, but the game is actually pretty relaxing. I'm only a few hours in so the mission types haven't gone stale yet.

Prepare to die edition is better. Scholar is difficult but is still plagued with sections full of cheesy bullshit. Honestly if they'd fix the hit boxes and enemy tracking then scholar would be fantastic.

Does anyone else feel like the mediocre Sonic games like Heroes or Lost World could have been great if they just followed the gameplay template from SA2. Strictly talking the Sonic/Shadow levels.
There was nothing wrong with how Sonic controlled in SA2, the levels rewarded skill, and the gimmicks werent stupid shit like guiding fruit into a grinder.
SA2 controlled like shit and it always has controlled like shit. You just got use to it's jankiness.

Only fighters and barbarians benefit from anything higher than 16 con. Hell to be honest as a mage the only important stats would be 16 con, 18 dex, and decent numbers in int and cha. Int doesn't really do much aside from affect your chance to copy spell scrolls to your book (something you can savescum). Only exception to this is you need 18 int to learn level 9 spells, but it's not requires to cast them so you can buff yourself up with potions and items to learn them. You do need 9 int to cast shit though.
