This is actually correct. There's no traditional "demons" in SH series, just psychic power that PROJECTS one's mind's darkness out into our world as physical phenomenons.
SH2's doctor's note is the biggest proof of this, and even SH1 is all about a powerful psychic being made to project her nightmares out into open. Said character just happens to come from religious origins.

And in case someone's once again new to this PC gaming stuff: Use a program like DaemonTools Lite to mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.

my PC ain't amazing, but I would like to replay the games. Don't have PS2 anymore, and the HD Collection apparently sucks.

Yes! The PC ports are old, so their system requirements are VERY low by modern standards. Even a craptop with only integrated videocard could run them just fine.
Meanwhile the PS2 emu requires a very strong, modern CPU and plenty of tweaking to work smoothly. PS1 emulation I already did over a decade ago, so that shouldn't be an issue to anyone.

Enjoyed a lot, but the last part was a bit underwhelming. Are the DLCs worth checking out?
Also, 'Lady Boyle's Last Party' was a fucking god tier mission. The best in the game, hands down.

Probably still one of my favorite games.
It's one of my favorite games, playing it through a third time now. You should try a playthrough with no kills without getting spotted once, it can be really difficult.
As for the DLC I say get them. I'd pirated the game and just recently bought it during the steam sale (hence the third playthrough). I like the DLCs, the campaigns are fun and the powers are a bit different. For instance, Daud's blink stops time when you're aiming it which makes for some fun change of pace. Then there are the challenges and puzzle maps which are fun too.
Anyways I think it's worth it, but as I said I am a big fan of the game so maybe I'm a bit biased.

This is the best controller since the Gamecube controller.
its actually good. i'd use it for sure over a 360 controller.
give it 6 bigger buttons and make the touch pad on the left smaller and i'd even use it for fighting games.

After replaying FF7 on PS4 it really proved to me that it's a good thing that turn-based combat combat is dead. It's still a great game but the combat is boring as fuck, thank god for that 3x speed increase option.

Yakuza games have always gotten meh reviews from western journos.
Hell, I avoided the series for years when I was younger because Game Informer always gave them 6s out of 10. Finally my brother tried them and showed me how fucking great they are, thank God.
Western reviewers don't really see the appeal, usually.
In what planet is 8/10 a bad score?
Plus, the review reads more like a 9/10.
