What's the best ruler to pick when I start my first game of CK2? I know the basics and played a little EU4 before (and 300h of Civ5, although I know that's casual as shit)
Make sure your first ruler has these criteria
>in an area of Europe you're interested in historically
>not next to any huge blobs
>not a huge blob themselves
Other than that you should be fine
1066 Ireland is considered "Tutorial island" for a reason.
Start as a some duke and try to unify and make your first kingdom
Ireland is a safe bet. Isolated enough to not be swept up.

Call me delusional all you want, and I strongly deserve it, but am I the only one who still believes he'll be part of the roster in February?
Even yesterday I had my doubts he would come out or be announced since it made sense to me that he would be promotion for Star Fox Zero.
Sakurai said "last new fighter", and he's a veteran, not a new fighter.
It just surprises me to see that everybody has just given up on his inclusion, seeing as /v/ is usually as delusional as I am.
Welp, I still believe. I'm setting myself up for a huge letdown, I know, but all the pieces just fall into place IMO, it just makes too much sense.

Before Corrin's reveal, I would've said Lucina would stay. Now I'm not so sure.
As far as third parties, I don't see Capcom, SEGA, or Namco reps getting the boot yet. Cloud could very well be a one-time-only deal though, what with how schizophrenic Square-Enix sometimes acts.
If Smash 4 is used as a base for the next game in the series it's unlikely anyone major would get cut. Why throw out the models when they look perfectly fine, after all.

If you know his steam name and/or are friends on steam Im pretty sure you can see his steam inventory, if he has more than one knife there isn't really a way to see his favorite or anything.
