Why the fuck did this game want to kick your ass so hard compared to 1 and 3? With all that talk about ND wanting the series to grow up with its fans, was there some super extremely deep metaphor here with the game's difficulty involving growing pains? Jesus christ man. I don't think anything will ever be as hard as killing those 40 flying guardsmen on the drill platform in hero mode outside of YS bosses.

Jak 2 is not a hard game, it's just that it's fanbase went from playing incredibly easy kiddy platformers to a game that doesn't hold your hand for once and they all got rekt by it.
Jak 2 is incredibly underrated, and is still widely hated by perennially butthurt retards over a decade later and it's a shame. More people need to go back and replay this game to see how fucking good it really is.

A lot of people hate Jak for being edgy, but I like how everybody ignores how bland and dead he was in the first game. Not only that, but the guy was locked up and torture for two straight years. No shit he was gonna have drastic personality change. People call it a GTA-clone but that was when GTA was still sort of unique (sort of), so I fail to see how people can still call it that when the game is filled to the brim with platforming.

Final Fantasy 6 is finally out on Steam, and it honestly doesn't look too bad. Nothing modders can't fix anyway, right?

I've watched God Hand speedruns, when they do enter combat they use nothing but autopilot 1-2-break-duck because on easy enemies can't stop it.
On easy you're encountering less than half the spawns of the game and the spawns that are there have gimped movesets.
"Speedrunning" God Hand on easy NG+ is not difficult or impressive, it's just remarkable tedious.

Looking forward to it as well. Been playing a lot of garden warfare lately. Disregarded it a long time for its casual looks and the fact that I got it in a humblebundle.
I hope they improve the netcode in the second game, as there is a lot of latencey problems in the first. I also dislike the sticker card upgrade system, but it seems that they use it to finance dlc, so I'm kinda neutral about that.
