K.Rool is fantastic character, he has been a king, a pirate and a boxer. Smash doesnt have many villains and it has so many human characters, why not mix it up and add another animal? Diversity is fun

Is he iconic? Not currently, no. He's a villain in a 2nd tier Nintendo franchise, and he's no longer the main villain anymore. I would definitely hesitate to call him iconic.
Absolutely he could have a great fucking moveset, but so could every other character out there.
K.Rool would be nice, but he's just kinda a middling contestant, and probably won't be returning.

If Ridley doesn't get into Smash 4 by the end of its support, I'm done. If this is really was final direct I'm just done. Ridley is one of Nintendo's most iconic and beloved characters, and easily the most well known Nintendo villain second only to Bowser. And yet Metroid still only has 1 character to represent it when shitty obscure series like Fire Emblem get 6 fucking representatives who are all generic sword wielding anime characters. Even worse, literal fucking whos that haven't been relevant since the 80s like Little Mac and Duck Hunt fucking Dog get in. What a fucking joke. And then for god knows why they let in 3rd party characters from dead series like Megaman and Pacman in over Ridley. Oh but it doesn't stop there. Then they let in fucking Bayonetta. Fucking. Bayonetta. Who the fuck even wanted her? Who the fuck has even played her games? Then, THEN THEY FUCKING LET IN ANOTHER ANIME SWORD USER FROM A GAME THAT HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN ON A NINTENDO CONSOLE. WHAT. THE. FUCK. What is the logic of passing over one of your own most requested, famous and wanted characters to bring in someone who has never even been on a Nintendo system and pretty much killed the N64 and by extension the GameCube? That's like inviting over the man who shot your dog and also shot your other dog to dinner.
I'm so fucking tired of Ridley fans being trampled on and disrespected by Nintendo.
I will literally smash my Wii U and 3DS in half and never buy another Nintendo product in my life if they really pull this shit. I hope they are happy, because they are heading down the path of losing a loyal fan.
