What happened to the RTS genre /v/?
I miss the days of Age of Empires where high level play meant that the game would last for hours. Thesedays RTS games never seem to last more than 10 minutes, with all units geared around rushing the enemy.
Are there any good, modern long play RTS games? Have I just been missing them?
Age of Empires and Company of Heroes defined the genre and nobody wants to challenge them so they just keep making Starcraft clones

If you absolutely have to go with PC, download the 2006 jap-only rerelease called Biohazard 2 Sourcenext. It has an english patch.
It has previously unreleased super high quality FMVs and Nightmare difficulty that was originally only on dreamcast and first PC release which doensnt work on modern machines.

I prob will. They're pretty mediocre 2d platformers even though most everyone just shits on bubsy for 3d, but still nice to check out a 2d platformer in this day and age. Would be cool to go back and see how mascot platformers at large were back then.
