I never played a mystery dungeon game before and I was running around in the beginner dungeon not knowing what the fuck to do. I didn't know if it was turn based or if everything was timed and Foongus was giving me a blowjob until I died.

I can beat the whole game with 1 or 2 continues. It's not a problem of dying, it's a problem of it being tedious. It moves faster than the player, it only has one tiny point where you can damage it, and its attack patterns force you to waste even more time dodging overly long attacks.
They give you the Chaser for so many other bosses/sections, I can't believe they didn't have POWs drop them on this one.

Is Sakurai mentally handicapped? These wouldn't be good ideas for ANY game, much less one which has any kind of competition involved.
Half of these would be rejected in Mario Party for being imbalanced.
I just want to play with some fucking items which are fun to use. I don't want to disable every fucking item because Sakurai thought items = must mean crazy bullshit all of the fucking time.
I like the majority of assist trophies, and would like nothing more than to be able to fight alongside Saki or Lyn. But holy fuck do I not want Resetti coming up and essentially causing the game to pause for five minutes until he fucks off.

I wouldn't call him retarded, he has a really fucked up view on what smash bros should be, rather than doing something more logical and compromising and understanding the idea that good players are allowed to be better than bad players.
He basically sees smash bros as a casual series and will fight you to the death if you think otherwise.
Smash isn't a fighting game, it's a party game. Tone down the autism, OP.
I like to think he put in Sm4sh's stage hazards, assist trophies, and items as a very deliberate ongoing policy of flipping the bird to Melee autists trying to make a "competitive game" out of his series about Mario bopping Pikachu in the face.
Are there any platformers you can think of with RPG elements?
Even if it's just a comprehensive item inventory or some form of leveling up.

Should be, they're still sticking to that date so it probably hasn't been pushed back.

I'm cautiously optimistic about it, I like what's been shown and I trust what the devs have said about how they're handling things. They have a clear vision for what they want it to be and I'm honestly glad they're changing some things up.

Good morning/afternoon/evening fellow anons.
I was recently playing some competitive CS:GO and after winning a game, (I was the second-fragger on the team) I had been deranked! I decided to look into the matter and have found out that there has been a change to the way ranking works in competitive. I'm really not in favor with this update and it seems like there are a lot of people out there that share the same opinion.
Personally, this update has made it far too hard to go back up and it seems as though many of the experienced/good players are now in the GN-MG ranks and are making even harder to win! (At the time, I reached MG2, now I'm GN2!) I'd like to hear from my fellow anons. Share your thoughts!

I am all for improving the rank distribution but just reset everyone's rank or something, dont just force them to derank

Thanks for your thoughts. I too am all up for the improvement of the rankings and your idea isn't too bad. However, If they were to reset everyone, they should also remove the 2 game cooldown so everyone can reach their ranks faster.

I gave up on it a week after the BTB update. Not even the forge update could keep me playing. There's no variety in the maps and the maps are very bland and mediocre. Playing BTB gets way too repetitive given the lack of maps and terrible map rotation. Halo 5 fucking sucks.

No, because there's no offline co-op or multiplayer to play when you've grown tired of the online multiplayer and its awful maps and poor playlists. If I'm going to play on forge maps they should' at least going to be ones I've made.
