Never actually used the other weapons you unlock or bought any accessories, so I got a lot of halos.
What are some must buy for a new run on hard, I didn't found any item that give you a chance to recover after a hit like in VJ or W101, did I miss it.

I played a little of the PS3 version long time ago but just gave up because it was pretty bad.
I thought that the bitching timing on the QTEs were because of that ps3 version but they're just as horrible on the Wii U.

I think he's referring to the insta-kill cutscene QTE's which were bullshit and served as a great example on how not to do QTE's.
The katana, whatever it was called, is OP as fuck. It was especially fun for me in conjunction with the shotguns.
There's a trinket that heals you whenever you taunt an enemy, that one was cool. Just experiment and find what weapons and trinkets make the most interesting experience for you.
