Who is the most /v/-tier vidya protagonist?

To the people that don't understand why it's getting such a negative reception, you have to think about it like Triforce Heroes.
When Triforce Heroes was announced we knew we weren't getting that instead of a real Zelda game. We knew we were getting it in addition to a real Zelda game because Zelda for Wii U was shown off first. Triforce Heroes got to exist peacefully because everyone knew it was just a little multiplayer appetizer.
If they had shown a true Metroid experience and FedForce was announced alongside, people would have thought, like Triforce Heroes, "oh that's cool, something to play with my friends while waiting for the next main installment." But when Metroid goes dark for years and then this is the first and only thing people see of it, it's hard not to get annoyed when everyone assumed they had been working on a way to bring it back in a a more familiar sense. I personally believe a new single player Metroid game is in the works for the NX but since there's nothing really to back that up, all people can really see is that FedForce is the only Metroid game on the horizon.
Multiplayer fits Zelda as bad as it fits Metroid but the reason one was okay and the other wasn't is because we didn't go years and years without real Zelda games.
Maybe FedForce is on hold so it can be shown alongside NX Metroid so people could give it a more fair chance.

Remember the shitposting fiasco with Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon's garbage graphics? Yet the game ended up being better than the original minus the atmosphere

Why doesn't he get any honors like Mario and Sonic? Why does no one want to touch the licence? He hasn't had a game in almost 8 years (6 if you count Nitro Kart 2). A lot of people would buy a new game in a heartbeat. Maybe Yooka-Laylee will inspire devs to make a new game.

Why the FUCK does no one talk about this game? This is like the gem of gems in the Steam sale. The gameplay is keeping me occupied until Dragon's Dogma comes out since they are sort of similar in some aspects.

It can be fun but it's basically just a rehash of Bam Ham combat and Ass Creed.
Nemesis system was neat but rather pointless. I honestly was getting annoyed when I killed someone 5 times over effortlessly.

Best halo in the series, fans that say 3 was the best are lying and have never played Halo 2 as they got into the series too late
So is this going to be the game that redeems Total War? The artstyle is and aesthetic looks like it could probably be the best in a total war to date, but I'm a bit wary considering what a mess Rome II was on launch
I'm really hyped for it, though I likely won't be able to play it when it comes out.

Well, it's no longer bugged out the ass but particularly when unmodded, it's just as appalling mechanically as it was at launch. Or well, almost.
Attila kinda redeems it, though. It fixes many of R2's shortcomings, like replacing the completely meaningless faction system with one that is actually kinda neat now, with family tree and political options that actually matter to an extent. And while it retains many of mechanics that annoyed me to no end in Rome 2, they feel unoffensive in Attila. For example, all armies are still tied to generals but the economy is balanced such that I don't think that's an annoying restriction, it's no longer ~mandatory to capture whole provinces (although there obviously are benefits to capturing them fully) and skill trees actually are trees now rather than something convoluted, and offer benefits that don't lead to some completely absurd stacking of buffs. Plus, it has neat new features like a new food system and hordes.
Did Atilla not do that? Not sure what the /v/ consensus is, but it was pretty much a straight 10/10 for me, and I've played everything since Rome.
I for one greatly enjoyed Persona 4 Dancing All Night.

Collecting video games and shit is fine. What I can't stand though is people collecting for MUH COLLECTION that shit is dumb.

Or even worse when they have games that are rare but they've hoarded it in the shrink wrapping never to be played.

I own hundreds of games for dozens of games. Most of them for the Mega Drive and its add-ons.
I took a long break from games though and returned about two years ago to the hobby. Currently I'm mainly collecting 3DS games. Also picked up a Wii U recently.
