To do that already, you have to spend $2000+ to build a SLI capable computer. Not many people can afford that.

I'll try to make it a little easier and more enjoyable. I had a co worker over and he had trouble with almost all of my levels.

This is for the guy who asked me to elaborate from the previous thread.
What I'm saying is that for all the coins that are through out the level, for the level to come down to a very specific condition just to get to the second half of the level is going to be frustrating to some people. Nobody playing blind is going to know that they absolutely must have the tail to proceed, and any amount of time spent exploring or scoring points is ultimately wasted if they've taken one hit. That's why I'm saying to put a pipe filled with leaf powerups somewhere in the level, so that when the player figures out what they need to do, they can do it without having to restart the level and losing all the points. I would speculate that they will feel sour and more likely to skip it than try again. There are so many point generating gimmicks in the level what with all the p-switch coin rooms and all. It's all wasted effort if the player takes one hit. I think that's too punishing.
Obviously I cleared it, so it's not that the hazard is too difficult or anything, but it's the nature of the level itself that is unkind in it's deception. A player knows they are playing a dickhead level when they are playing one, so they will approach it with the focus of just clearing it. Yours felt like a traditional level. When people play traditional levels, they want to see everything and do all the things. They don't yet know that one hit will make it impossible to win, and they aren't going to be happy when they find out.
Unless I missed something and you don't need the leaf to exit, I already shut the game off so I can't check. As far as I know, the only way through the pipe is to hit the hidden block below it with a p-fly, and then fly again to enter the pipe.

I've been making video games for around thirteen years, and it's been my primary source of income for ten. Made a bunch of Flash games, and one Steam release so far. My projects are self funded through previous projects. One time a friend told me that he saw some people on /v/ speaking fondly about one of the games I made, which made me feel both warm/fuzzy and highly conflicted (because you guys are a bunch of god damned animals).
Game development works differently than a lot of people expect (HURR, SURPRISE). Let's talk about it, because it's interesting to me and I don't know any fucking people to talk to about this shit in real life.

No hourly wage, or salary, or whatever.
We basically only get paid through releases, which means there are long periods of working on stuff for no pay and hoping that it'll eventually make money and become a worthwhile endeavor. When a game releases, it makes the most money it will make (almost always). After the release spike, games generally only make money when they're on temporary discount. Fucking stressful, at times.
