I'm replaying Dragon Quest VI since its the only Dragon Quest game I didn't like the first time I tried it. But somehow, I'm really getting into the game now. But for the life of me, I can't figure out why. The story and characters aren't all that memorable. And the class system is really slow.
Are we that starved for Dragon Quest games that I'm finding enjoyment in what is arguably the weakest game in the series?

It takes a while but after you grind enough of the towers to make the two best endgame ranged weapons, get a lot of chlorophyte bullets and buff potions, the moonman isn't that hard.

Why do so few games have actual forests? Iy's always just sparsely scattered trees,
consoles cant handle it. There isnt some elaborate complex answer, try thinking about things for more than one second.
To be fair, if the trees were as dense as a real forest, it would be pretty clunky trying to move around in that area. I'm just imaging a lot of your character bumping into things and having the edges of your hitbox get "stuck" on trees.
I look forward to Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It so far seems to have a decent depiction of European terrain.
