>After spending a shit ton of time enjoying splatoon decide I want to try bayonetta 2
>Head to gamestop to buy a copy
>"Oh anon we don't have any copies of it and we probably never will again. It was hard to get and after that post on
>Decide to drive around and see if I can find it in various other stores
>None of them have it
>Check Amazon
>New copies are like $90 used copies are like $70
>Decide to get the e-shop version
>Not enough space on my Wii U because of SSB and Splatoon
fug
why are there so few copies of bayo 2? Apparently it's really not hard to find in EU, but fucking region lock means those wouldn't work for me.
why is that cats tail painted?
not cool
>>323084461
it's not paint, it looks like a blue bandage of sorts.
Because it didn't sell that much at release so game stores refuse to stock it, not realizing that its sales pattern has way more in common with Nintendo first party games which sell consistently over a long period of time than Bayonetta 1, which sold well to begin with but dropped like a stone as time went on. Of course now the markets have responded and prices have shot up due to the restriction in supply, but retailers like Gamestop feel that relaunching Bayo 2 is a waste of valuable shelf space in whatever tiny corner they have dedicated to the WiiU.
Basically they fucked up and pulled out too early and refuse to jump back in because of sunk cost fallacy and no promise of immediate returns with no media fanfare or ad campaigns. Now they can't justify the startup cost of stocking it again, while online retailers which have no frontend make out like fucking bandits.
I need help /v/. I had this old PC adventure game when I was a kid that I can't remember the name of.
It had pixel graphics and you played as a little boy who's town was attacked by some evil witch that turns everything upside down, literally, like trees and houses and shit, and you had to go free this wizard who would turn everything right side up and banish the witch.
I remember there was a carnival with a clown in it, and there was this puzzle where you had to get these little statues of men to form a bridge.
I've looked all over and can't find any mention of it, just someone else asking the same thing on an Escapist thread (but with no answer).
Little Nemo

No, it was an adventure game. Point and click I think.
pls don't leave me hangin niggas
Will the Final Fantasy VII remake surpass the original as the greatest game of all time, or will it be absolute dog shit?
>>323083817
It's the Force Awakens of videogames
Give the plebs what they want instead of something good since their nostalgia and word of mouth will trick them into liking it
>>323083883
No? It won't be absolute dog shit?
>>323083817
Won't be hard 2bh even if the new VII will be total garbage
all the reviews I see about this game are people complaining about how the company responsible for the game misused the kickstarter money
do you guys have a review on the game itself?
>>323083813
Shit. Also, lose the name asshole.
>>323083813
Coming from someone who is relatively new to the RTS genre, i like the game. I enjoy the idea of constructing absolutely massive armies of death machines and washing over any enemy like a wave of steel and machinery, as well as blowing up enemy planets. The base game did lack a bit in content, but I feel like Titans made up for it.
>>323083813
It's shallow and poorly balanced
Hey, /v/ I'm looking to play some PS1 games. Any good recommendations?
>>323083593
Fantastic Four for the PS1
Crash Bandicoot
>>323083593
Are you asking for underrated PS1 games or do you just ask for recommendations?
Make up your mind, faggot.
Fly me to the moon /v/!
Let me play among the stars!
Which games allow me to visit ol' "La Luna" and travel the ever vast expanse of space?
I mean look at that sky! Have you ever just looked up and felt this great wanderlust?
With the vive and rift coming out I'm actually pretty excited for spaceship simulators, I want to get a flight stick and pretend I'm in another world, that world.
>>323083595
Why would you?
>>323083787
I dunno, I got a lingering suspicion
SPACE ENGINEERS
PLANETARY UPDATE
This game costs 10€ in the e-shop, should I get it? Is it any good? Physical is pretty expensive here
The only "smt" games I played are persona 3 & 4
The 1st game has a better story and cast, though the gameplay in the 2nd one is much more polished. What do you prefer, good sir
>>323083256
Got it on a whim, it's pretty good.
I want to yoohoo Yuzu's yoohoos.
War has changed...
War, War never changes.
>No Joji art for the MGSV cover.
I mean, TPP's cover was kind of neat, especially compared to the awful GZ cover, but man.
why he becomes a bad guy in mg1?
hes the nicest guy around
i'm looking to download my first n64 emulator on my pc. i've heard project 64 has malware and shit but there are ways to get around it. There are also others ive heard good things about. what do you recommend /v/?
>>323082864
Project 1.7 (the older version) is perfectly fine, and not bundled with anything. I believe the claims about malware are related to the stuff included in the installer of 2.x variants.
I've used 1.6 and later 1.7 versions for something like a decade now. The most popular games work perfectly fine, and you got several plugins to choose from for graphics, audio and controls.
I'd recommend grabbing at least the N-Rage's Direct Input plugin; allows you to bind anything to any controller action, such as Mouse's X / Y movements, and adjust what devices are set to the virtual gamepad (Rumble or Memory pak, etc). I played DN:Zero Hour with WASD+M controls like this couple years ago!
Basic graphics plugin works OK for most titles.
Keep the original 640x480 aspect ratio (ie. 1280x960) to eliminate some visual glitches. Tick "Always use texture filter". Enable "Use Legacy Pixel Pipeline" from Advanced Options tab too.
When the game starts, go to Audio settings, and tick "Sync game to audio". This fixes out-of-sync and clicking noises problems.
>>323082864
i recommend that you stop being a poorfag and buy a n64 plus an everdrive. all n64 emulators are fucking terrible
>>323086105
Nope.
When will Mario become stale?
>>323082383

>>323082383
fujck i cant even tell the shirtposoing a^pary its all just fusing together maybe it wax jus rt a waste of time all along
The straps wouldn't work on the right one
Why did people dislike max payne 3?
Mostly just because the unskippable cutscenes made replaying the game a chore.
Ignoring that 3 is still better than 2.
>>323082301
muh cutscenes
Seriously tho it's probably the best TPS I've ever played in terms of mechanics
no sam lake writing and creativity
good shootan tho
Who was in the wrong, /v/?
>>323082226
Both.
>>323082226

Everyone. Meredith for being insane, Anders and Elthina for not murdering Elthina, Orsino for turning into Kaceytron

Its a FREE game, I'm currently running a server, no custom maps yet but might add some later.
Its like SS13 but on a 2D submarine. The goal of the game is to get from point A to point B while dealing with giant sea monsters and finding artifacts. The sub can take Damage and water can flood the submarine. repair it with the welding tool so you don't drown the whole crew.
Dont bother with the tutorial, its broken in the build, just hop on the /v/ server and fuck around with us bros
WASD to move, E to interact,
Have the thermal reactor set to 4000 or so with auto cooling on.
The navigation is pretty simple and you can get by with auto-pilot
The diving suit allows you to withstand water pressure so you need it to exit the submarine.
equip an oxygen tank to the suit and you're good.
try to have a diving mask on you with a tank of oxygen in case there are leaks in the sub.
there's also a sonar map that shows the terrain and will blip for monsters and shit
other than that, ask the crew what to do and hopefully you won't die.
yeah you can just join the server it's the only one, the game is pretty alright too
bump
we need people too, so join if you want
YOU KNOW, IM GETTING A BIT HUNGRY AFTER ALL THIS RUNNING
SO I THINK ILL HAVE
HEY SEGA
A CHILI DOG
