I have some friends who play Destiny, and they have hundreds and hundreds of hours in it, but they admit its a bad game. I got a PS4 for Christmas and I'm thinking about picking up the game so I can play with them. Is it at least fun, in a carrot-on-a-stick way?

Play Halo but completely ignore any story and you have Destiny. It's incredibly boring.

Why are achievement hunters/completionists viewed as autismo?
Part-time achievement hunter here. Because a lot of achievements require either incredibly tedious tasks or tasks you wouldn't normally perform and require you to go out of your way to go through.

Because achievements, inherently some of the most meaningless things on the planet because people don't see it, take a lot of time to get, and while normal adults may have time to get maybe one platinum or finish one game to 1000GP, only true mega-autists will (be proud to) consider themselves "achievement hunters" because they need to accomplish *something* in their sad dreary lives.

The Rayman port is garbage.
You can play Cave Story for free on PC and an HD version of Switch Force is on Steam for cheaper on sales.
Unless you meant Cave Story 3D in which case if your faggot ass really wanted to waste money that badly I'd just go with that.

A classic. Pretty original story, lots of secrets and hidden stuff to find. Buy it if you've never played it before and you like Megaman and/or metroid

Good game. Great music. Fast, arcade type gameplay, but very short. Buy if you enjoy trying to beat your own high scores.

Legendary 3d platformer, hasn't aged perfectly but its still one of my favorites. Buy if you prefer exploration and beautiful scenery over combat
Can people not remember things that happened even just this past generation? Sony is notorious for taking a while to get their first party momentum going. Their exclusives are coming, and are in fact the greatest strength of the brand. The PS3 is a perfect example of what happens when their huge number of studios begins releasing their flagship titles; the console clawed its way out from the bottom, which paid off immensely. While Nintendo and Microsoft were both extremely front-loaded, PS3's waves of fantastic exclusives are what gave it legs and caught it up to the 360.
The same sort of release schedule is poised to happen very soon. Obviously the difference this time is that Sony doesn't need this boost to become competitive. This is how Sony operates though, and is a big reason why they usually dominate the market. It's strange that people seem to be completely oblivious to this. Do that many people really not know anything about generations before the PS360?
2016 onward is going to be an awesome time for PS4 owners :)

Things aren't looking great for Xbox One
Let's consider some facts here:

>MS tried to save face by saying the Xbox One is outpacing the 360. However, this is a very misleading statement as the 360 faced supply issues and didn't pick up sales into actually much later (its peak year was 2011) and had long legs. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Xbox One had no supply issues and is already showing to be very frontloaded.
>Xbox One only sees success in essentially two regions: UK an US.
>In essentially every region of growth (Latam, Asia and the pacific, Middle East, Africa, etc.) PS4 has a significant lead
>In all of Europe (minus UK), PS4 has 70-90%+ marketshare
>Last quarter PS4 outsold Xbox One over 3:1. This ratio continues to widen as time progresses

Keep playing PR until it's at least in Beta. Once Squad is released I'm sure a lot of people that play PR will move on to something that isn't so clunky and outdated even if it is nostalgic for BF2.
