not really, you can do good as any champ and by the time you hit lvl 30 you should have your rune pages filled out pretty easily
if you're really impatient you can unlock champs with money but that doesnt give you an advantage, same with buying rune pages since all you really need is an ad page and an ap page
and obviously skins make no difference on gameplay whatsoever

I'm having a blast. There's no push to talk so if you have a mic you're forced to broadcast everything to the world and people hardly work together as a team but the game itself is solid. I hope they add more features like custom games and more gear though. Sniping is fun and Enforcer has the coolest perks.

Because I haven't been keeping track. I have games that I bought 6 years ago on my shelf that I haven't touched. Others that I started, got most of the way done and then dropped. (Actually finished FFXIII last november after a year hiatus from my save file.)
