If you're literally waiting to dodge for Witch Time, that's probably part of your problem. Mess with combos, get and try out new weapons, figure out a fun playstyle and go to town.
Then beat it and move on to Bayonetta 2 if possible, because gameplay-wise it's better in every way. Smoother combat, much clearer enemy attack tells, levels are exploration rather than awkward platforming, and no penalties for using items.

I just throw on a couple records and mute the game and smoke some bowls.
I usually listen to live records that are a couple hours long so it makes the grinding feel a lot less tedious. More like something to do with my eyes and hands while listening to the music

even with Fail-lords of dreanor they still are at 5 mil active users. What is it about this game that still makes it the best MMORPG out there after so many years? Did developers just quit making MMO's alltogheter? Why is there no WoW killer after 10 years? So many questions and no answer... This game is just 1 of a kind, nothing compares for some unkown reason. Its in a league of its own...
People still play it because of the time they've invested in it, and because it plays well. There's no floaty movement, there's no animation locks and it's toaster friendly.

After you have too much money the good part of the game becomes pointless and the NPC interactions/romance is complete shit.
I probably shouldn't have lurked in the threads, though. I feel like if I had discovered stuff by myself instead of following anon's advice about what are the best things to do, I would had much more fun.
the entire winter of year 1 I spend on the mines getting quarks, gold and iron. Now i have my entire farm filled with sprinklers and making mad dough because of how much I can plant now.
