Final boss was worth it though, that orchestral mix of the main theme was great.
Side-Quest were shit though, don't even bother, they don't give you any items worthwhile.

Mine is on good way, concept is finished, my art is improving, started to go throught theUnity2D tutorials one week ago and making progress.
Only thing missing is the soundtrack. What software should I use to make some music ? Bonus point if it's opensource.
This game isn't so well. I installed android studio but have no idea what to make.
Animating is a bitch so I'll probably remake a lot of the sprites once I finished the game

Hasn't it been confirmed there's no rocket jumping, no plasma climbs, no air control, no strafe jumping, and loadouts? It looks like casual trash with absolutely zero depth. If I wanted game were aiming your weapon was all that mattered I'd play literally any other FPS.
I get it though. Even games like Overwatch are moving towards having 'abilities' that are simply a single button press instead of mechanics that require some sort of execution.
Why have something that requires execution like rocket jumping, that players can practise and get better at when you can just make it into a single button and make more money from shitters too bad to spend time learning things.

Sup, /v/. Im curious. What is your favorite boss fight and why?
Mine is by far Gwyn, Lord of Cinder from Dark Souls. It was so brilliantly done. The fact that there was no cutscene and that the music was so somber and melancholy added to the fight so much. You walk in and the fallen god lunges towards you and fights you with all the strength he has left. The saddest part is he wants you to defeat him so you can become to fuel for the flame, but he cant let you win. Its just amazing. Also the boss track is by far the best track in the game.

So riot buys out a fighting game that incorporates 4 abilities and Cooldowns, cans the game, and repurposes the studio (radiant) to create a minecraft clone on steam. Am I getting all this right?
