Which ending is the sequel canon to?
I thought it was Sarif's and haven't looked at the sequel much.
The "endings" of Human Revolution are completely meaningless since A) most people are just going to load the game to right before he presses the ending button, and B) as a prequel, they can't actually give you meaningful, impactful choice, since the events of Deus Ex already happened, and you can't change anything that happens before then.
So you're left with four bland, forgettable voice over narrations. You're given no clue as to what your choice actually entails, no glimpse as to the consequence of which of the four buttons you pressed. Just a montage of stock imagery and Jensen vaguely waxing philosophical over them for every single one.
That's why you never see any discussion about "which ending did you choose?" Because the answer for almost everyone is going to be "all of them."
Do you know Saya no uta? if you have play to this really beautiful VN, recently i have replayed and i see 3 images of the monster can be seen in the game. It's the human seen by fuminori but if you put together these 3 images you can see the " full " monster. So there is the true form of saya :

Too many things
-leveling is too easy and doesn't feel rewarding or challenging anymore - oh, you have 10 level 100's? So does everyone else
-legendary ring is basically required to raid and takes months to get. It's just not fun, especially if you started late
-server communities are non-existent now due to dead servers, CRZ, and a change in player attitude
-guilds aren't social anymore - they just exist to kill bosses. Gone are the days of making real life friends over Wow
-classes all feel the same and many have unsatisfying rotations compared to older expansions
-world is empty and soulless
-nothing to do except raid, unless you like to waste time collecting mounts or achieves
-pvp the most unbalanced it's ever been
I could go on.. but yeah
Slight downhill started when they gave BT-equivalent gear for Badges of Justice, went steeper with 3.2 launch when you could skip a raid tier by doing 5-mans and went the steepest with 3.3 when they released the random dungeon finder.
