Yes. The HD version really plays awful because its still formatted like a handheld game.

The visuals are inconsistent, the bloom is blinding, the motion blur is excessive and HOLY FUCK is the camera awful. It constantly snaps.

Its a flashy 'remake' but does nothing to really improve the experience in any meaningful way.

Pros:

>can be patched for 60 FPS
Cons:
>prerendered cutscenes run in 480x272 resolution
>no dual audio, only Jap audio
>no dual analog (but you can get it when emulating by mapping DPAD to right analog)

Pros:
>pre-rendered cutscenes in 720p/1080p
>dual analog
>arguably new character models (but they are inconsistent with the world and their textures despite being in higher resolution are less detailed than PSP ones)
Cons:
>shit translation
>bloom/motion blur/depth of field (you can turn off the latter two on PC but you can't turn off bloom)
>inconsistent visuals
>30 FPS locked with no way to unlock it

Game has been in development hell for so long while changing teams, you shouldn't even care. If anyone has learned anything from Nintendo consoles, being lured by stuff like this and Bayonetta 2 is for suckers, when most of the library sucks and the support dies down fast.

Everyone I've spoken to will not be getting an NX even before information is available due to being screwed by the Wii U and/or losing faith in Nintendo to output good products.
