No, but it's the fastest sonic game and thus was the best game.
Night maps weren't great but they weren't uplayable, day maps were god tier.

I can't remember a single song other than the combat theme, because it was playing 90% of the time.
But man I don't think I've ever played such a fast Sonic game. Some of those daytime levels were like holy shit man, you've got to slow down.

Yes. In Korea MMOs are intended to be played in internet cafes where you mindlessly grind while hanging out with friends.
Very different than the perception of how they're supposed to be played in the west.
Because they play video games 16 hours a day so their games need to last longer than ours in order to justify their purchase. This is achieved by using grinding mechanics.

Those kinds of sequels are great, though. Keeping the most distinct gameplay elements from the first game and then changing everything else to make a completely new game. If you want the original game again, then just go back and paly that.

Why do we pretend emulation works well?
The only thing that works well is up to SNES anything more powerful and you can tell it's an emulator. Frame rate drops, missing textures, bad audio. I know people are going to post custom configs they spent hours to look perfect.
Because we don't have shit computers.
Because they look better and can run at a constant framerate, while also being free.

No, it wasn't "Revolutionary" when it came out (I was 18 then), and it sure isn't the greatest game ever made.
HL1 was better. F.E.A.R. for that time period was far more impressive.
