I was playing Mafia just now and why does a 2002 Czech videogame has cops that can do pit maneuvers while in 250,000,000$ 2013 most hyped USA videogame has cops that drive into you by a straight line and your wheels lock into a random direction to simulate going out of control?
When webm-related happened, I would be surprised if I wasn't blown away already from all the technology - like cars bending from impact, cops stopping your to write a ticket and not shooting to kill, blinkers, etc.
Probably because it would be annoying to have every cop you run across attempt to get you off the road and crash.
Devs can certainly make better, more complicated AI but the question is will it make the game better, or simply more frustrating to play?

I bought this game and have played it for about a week now. I do have to say that I expected more armors and weapons. Feels kind of boring to not see better weapons or armor.
I like to have cool armors and shit in my games but this game doesn't seem to let me, except for the cash shop which I will not spend anything on at the moment.
Since it is B2P I feel like they really need to lower their cash shop pricing or just remove it all together. I feel like this game will be popular for a few months and then it will die.
It feels bad that this game could've been so much better if they just removed/fixed some shit. I might also have realized that I don't like MMO's that much more.
So why did this game feel the need to be so "difficult" it ruins the experience?
Because the entire point of the game is to create on oppressive atmosphere, and gameplay is one of the best ways to create atmosphere.
Being scared of every turn literally is the point of the game, and puts you in there with the characters.
Also git gud.
It's not scary. It's just fucking frustrating. The fact that it's random really works against the game though. The point of difficulty is to improve and overcome it. You can't do that when the whole game is RNG and can just decide to completely ruin your playthrough in one fell swoop.
