ive tried to get into this game several times but i just cant
i dont like the characters and i dont like the combat
but i admit i never got very far into it
Just me who will buy this on console because it is 30 fps and not 60?
I know 60 is technically "better", but I can't play Souls for shit at 60.
I'm good at the games in 30, at dodging shit and not gettinb hit so I thought I'd buy DS1 and 2 on PC and I suck at it. My timing is off, I can't predict when the enemy will actually swing their attack as well and such.
It just frustrates me and I find myself going back to the console versions.
I think this is one series that's made, at least for me, for 30 FPS.
DS1 is 30 FPS is PC too (by default).

Dodging can be wonky at frame rates higher than 30. Hopefully that isn't a problem in DAS3.

I know, I applied the DSFix for it since people recommended that and because I know that normally, 60 is "better".

No difference. Same resolution and framerate, 720p and 90% sure it's 60FPS.
Well I guess the game boxarts are different, they went with platform exclusive front covers.
I forgot this even had a 360 version, so I guess that tells you what I would've recommended.

Anyone else notice how good some games are but they have a really low player base?
For exmaple, Secret ponchos is a amazing fucking game. The style, the gameplay, the music. All fucking GREAT.. However, its player base is really tiny and it takes forever to find a match.
Same with unreal tournament(the new one). Great game but hardly anyone plays it even though its free and shaping up nicely. Why is that?
What is it about good games that makes people not want to play?!

Yes. Both games now feel like two halves of the same game rather than an old game and its sequel. Weapon customization in Metro 2033 was neat.

Yep.
Pretty average. There wasn't a lot of good moments or humor. World was a little too standard, lack of a real overworld made the whole thing feel too linear even if it wasn't any moreso than the rest of the series. Super easy cause dem babies.

If you just finished 2, play Ys Origin first since that is a direct prequel story-wise to Ys 1 and 2.
