I recommend installing all mods that increase difficulty, to change the piñata gameplay to a one more reliant on skill/position, plus anything that makes the world a harsher place.

I would go for Requiem instead of SkyRe. I had better times with it, but it will be up to go in the end I suppose. Try both.

Diablo II was my favorite game. I loved the lore, even if it was pretty campy and unoriginal. When I was a kid I thought the Prime Evils and Lesser Evils were badass. Now these characters are soulless, empty shells that exist solely to make some smug tits with a dick she-thing feel empowered.

I see now that I won't be enjoying this game too much since I can't use a shield at all. Wow that framerate too. Is it supposed to be constantly like Blight town, or is it just that opening area?
Shield only scrubs got it harder. You need to be aggressive and learn how to stagger with the gun.

Gimme some tips, the first section of all these games is always the hardest because of the limited options available.
If you're a shield user in Souls, it'll take a bit to get used to, but once you do it's easier than any Souls game.
