Should I buy the legacy game for the PS3 and play through 1 and 2 before I buy TPP? Or should I play TPP and then go to 1 and 2. As it stands now I've been following the chronological track, and I sort of like that idea. On the other hand I know we're "supposed" to play the games in release order.

A rather common criticism I see of Sonic Heroes is that the levels overstay their welcome, as some of them can last for 10 minutes, or even 20 minutes if you're new or bad.
Explain this. Why is this bad? Why would you want less content?
Personally I feel unsatisfied after playing a 3-4 minute level, 10-15 is the ideal length in my opinion.

Thousands of people love it, there is a big community behind it, mods are being made for it weekly, reviews (Both oficial and user's) are quite good and it has a lot of good development values on many areas
I think it would be a bit naive to say it's not at least a good game
Played it, liked it, went for a second playthrough years later and it bored the hell out of me
