Any kind of anti-Mechon weapons in Xenoblade, just go Shulk/Melia/Seven or cast Monado Enchant.
Any other weapon does the job better.
Has this game aged badly? I loved Bioshock and similar games. Not too sure about the RPG mechanics in this game and the actual FPS part seems awful nowadays.
Is it worth playing? Will I enjoy it even though I know the "twist" at the end?
Sure.
Also, that twist doesn't happen at the end. Although the ending has plenty problems of its own.

The actual FPS parts are pretty awful, but you enjoyed Bioshock so you'll probably be able to stomach these.
Just be aware that Standard guns are stupidly better than all the alternatives.

Absolutely. I first played it in 2007, thinking I'd "prepare" myself for the upcoming Bioshock, just so I'd know a little bit about the series.
What I did not expect was 10/10 atmosphere, super deep and varied gameplay with plenty of choices, and to find myself instantly replaying it when the credits had rolled. In short, it became one of my all time favorite games, ever!
Afterwards, Bioshock felt VERY watered down, streamlined console-shooter, with some SS2 inspired features in a minor role.

I guess you mean THAT "twist", and you get there around 1/3th of the game. So yeah, it does not matter.
I'd recommend starting as Navy first.
Get some basic weapons, hacking, maintenance and research skills. Vola! You can beat the game now, and use most features there is!

The only reason he succeeded in the first place was because he got lucky and happened to have a team of cool people put together a bunch of amazing shit, then he got a big head, ditched all the people that corrected for his natural batshit tendencies, and now he thinks he's hot shit despite the fact that he never actually had any exceptional talent.

So I fucked up. I'm stuck in the Azaleas favorite customer quest and she required 1000G. I have 200G because 1 event reset my gold to 200 instead of adding the 200G. Iris is living with me, so Jasmine can't work in the tavern. That job mostly payed the bills but now I can't go in there. I can't cancel a quests, can I? Because if I can't I'll just have to grind cleaning houses for months now.

make jasmine work in brothel to get the money, use the fruit stands to pay for the classes and if you don't have the patience save before starting the night event and reload if it says she needs more classes

Its one of my favorite games.

Everyone calls this game a great platformer, but I have never touched the DKC series. I don't even know if the GBA port is good. I like the music though.

You should get yourself a snes emulator and some roms and play those games anon. They really are great and hold up fantastically. DKC 2 is probably the best of the trilogy but they're all good so you might want to start from the first. Instead of paying $20 for the hot new 2 hour long indie pixel platformer, play these games first.
Just get an emulator buddy. And don't emulate the GBA ports. I mean, there's really no excuse for you not to do it. Pic related is one of the comfiest overworlds ever.
I never played the Zelda games, started emulating them. Was a decision because I found another series I like. So you give it a go too.
