Was Resident Evil 5 really that bad of a game?
It was great fun local coop. It was shit everything else.
It would have been great if it didn't have the Resident Evil brand slapped on the cover. But since it did, it's fucking cancer for deviating towards more action oriented gameplay. RE4 is even more to blame but at least it maintained some aspects of survival horror, 5 was just a shooter through and through

Just finished Lisa for the first time. That was a ride, teared up a little at the end of the joyful.
Combat was kinda boring, it had me backtracking a lot and the music was offensive to my ears but I really fell in love with the storytelling and characters. I was also a big fan of how subtle the meta humor was as opposed to a certain other game people like to compare lisa to.I'm looking for the "my daughter ain't free" etc image of spurdo brad and I can't find it anywhere. Help me.

I've never heard of Raypunk before. Is it a new term for that 50's future with rayguns and shit? What is some Raypunk and Dieselpunk films/games I can play?

Steampunk can be really cool but hipsters love to fag it up, I think cyberpunk is the most established though. It's my favorite.

Aether is steampunk though. The theory of aether comes from the victorian age.

astropunk - 70s/80s
dieselpunk - 1920s/30s/40s/50s/60s
steampunk-1860s/70s/80s/90s
of course there is some overlap here and there. Steampunk is mainly defined by victorian era. Dieselpunk is art deco and the industry of the early 20th century. There's the space age which is astropunk. It's a lot of optimism for the future. Cyberpunk is more cynical and computer oriented.

According to /v/, a bad game like Skyrim should have lost its appeal a long time ago. How come that isn't actually the case, and can someone explain this phenomenon? But more importantly, how come Witcher 3 doesn't have as good mod tools as Skyrim?

Because CDPR broke their promise and instead of releasing the REDkit which is the proper SDK used to make the game they released the "MODkit" which is a glorified texture editor
