Terrible characters (mainly Yew and Magnolia).
Terrible new music
Terrible sidequests shoehorning old bosses
Terrible dialogue
Only the small improvements to gameplay were a good thing.
Oh and the new asterisks are pretty fun.

literally nothing beats an ember with rapiers late game, you split push like a god and are virtually unkillable provided you're not a greedy moron and know when to back off
It's not how dragons are supposed to look.
Monsters appearing as cute girls is hardly a new thing at all.
They don't actually want to make a dragon, they just say it is one. A monster having a human form is 99% of the time just there to avoid having to create the other form, animate it, or even write/describe what it is doing in that shape.

Almost done with the part I'm working on.
Nothing big, but it's progress
Been working with some pixel art for my game. Since there are no good pixel art tutorials what I do is thinking of what I want to do and then look for a game that does that pretty well. I try to imitate the style while correcting things I don't like.
Is it a good idea to do it in this way?

Japanese berserker class designs tend to not wear much clothes.
Berserkers focus on raw strength and speed above all else, so it isn't that surprising that she's not wearing armor to slow herself down.
