It's a comfy show set in the Japanese countryside where a witch doctor wanders around dealing with problems caused by spirits. The backgrounds are the finest in anime. It's somewhere between absolutely horrifying and incredibly soothing.

It's about a guy named Ginko who goes around solving problems that are created by little, usually non-malevolent, spirits called Mushi. Each episode revolves around a different one 'cause he travels a lot from place to place due to reasons that are discussed in the show, so i don't want to spoil that.
The show is super chill, so it's not the kind of thing to watch if you're looking for action, and it has an amazing sound track as well. The english dub is also pretty good.

To expand on this, you can easily create a million dollar moment by putting the camera on an actor's face for a few seconds. The cost is extraordinarily low: Localized makeup/costuming, lighting and a camera that you already have, plus an actor's talent with some minor CG editing later. In animation, and realistic-looking CG for that matter, its much higher to get things like wrinkle lines, eye movements and the like.
