Dks2 is a bad game
this has been proved time and time again. Still has, always will be. Not even in the same league as the other games in the series.
I always liked Dark Souls 2, even with its blatant flaws. It's fun to play and had some good ideas.
You forget how /v/ has an overall abysmal taste on games. Certain awful borefests (you know which games I'm talking about) are worshipped here and certain games are shitposted to death because they can't play them.
How do we fix the innate problem of MOBAs, which is the ridiculous team dependency? Five strangers simply cannot coordinate efficiently, and matches boil down to hero picks and the counters therein.
Play with friends is the obvious answer, of course, but I am specifically looking for answers that would make MOBAs a viable genre for solo/less than 5 stack play

I have an idea. What if instead of 5 different players, you had just one player controlling all 5 heroes?
Or maybe they don't have to be heroes and can just be regular soldiers, and you can control more than 5 of them. Maybe, like, a dozen of them! Or maybe a hundred! And instead of a pre-built base you can build your own base too!
Has anyone ever made a game like that?
MOBAs were not designed for random strangers on a team, it was designed for people on a fucking team. Hence why Esports is so fucking popular for the MOBA genre.

What items are usually the best for mercenary? I'm trying to learn how to get good with him but it's been hard so far. Whats the general combo of abilities for him?

I used to be the biggest Zelda fanboy in the world but I've completely fallen out of love with the series. I doubt it will ever be as good as it used to be.

Why all games after the 2006 disaster are forced to have this disgraceful linear and automated gameplay that began with Sonic and the Secret Rings ?
No, Sonic Adventure was terrible.
Sonic 06 followed the Sonic Adventure model of gameplay, that's why they abandoned it afterwards.
Adventure and its sequel receiving too much positivie feedback doomed the series.

If Sonic Adventure is terrible, its not because of the Sonic parts. Sonic '06 was just plain broken, with only a skeleton crew as the dev team for the second half of development.

I swear the game didn't shuffle Marik's deck unless I went back to the mainland and dueled somebody else. Cards missing their effects, the "nature weakness" system, and being able to sacrifice monsters when you had nothing available to summon made this one a mixed blessing.
Stairway is still my favorite.
