What consoles do you have?
V is generally considered (one of) the best and also my favorite. The games are generally all pretty much the same system and execution. They're the archetype of JRPG, so you can pretty much start wherever you want.
But personally, I'd say go either V or VIII, VIII if you can't handle 2D and need something more up to date.

How should I feel when Arkane did an even better job with their previous two games?
Dishonored is a heavily dumbed down console game in comparison, still had some fun with it though.
I enjoyed Dishonored a lot too, and the fact that both of the DLCs were better in every way leaves me hopeful for Dishonored 2 which should have a release date announced at E3

I agree, but choosing between story or classic mode is a kick in the gut.
EOU1 had content only accessible to story mode players and could not be 100%'d in classic. Grimoire farming was bullshit.
EOU2 fixes the grimoire system and doesn't have content locked away form classic mode but the MC is overpowered.
I understand people who did not like the story characters can hate the untold remakes.

How do you play with mods? I can't seem to have an enjoyable time playing with anything.
Its almost like im a painter and my painting is never finished. I just keep adding more and more paint. Just layers after layer of paint the thing starting to get pretty thick and heavy but I'm still not satisfied
You're not creating anything when you add mods. The game doesn't get better or worse, just different. All that matters is if you are having fun doing it.

No. As a game, it's buggy and broken as shit. You know Obsidian games generally have one or two game breaking glitches because they can't into QA (but it's totally never their fault, guise!)? Alpha Protocol was nothing but game breaking glitches cobbled together into a video game.

Much better than I had anticipated. Instead of a shitty RTS, it actually pulled the TT off pretty well.
I only pirated the beta so far though, but I'm positive that I'll buy it. THe skirmish mode is gold.
