Alight /v/, level with me on this: is Razor's Edge worth getting? I enjoyed NG I and II, but I haven't touched any of the others. I've heard nothing good about vanilla NG3 and Yaiba, but it looks like Razor's Edge did improve some things.
Is it any good, even just for the girls being playable? And if it's worth getting, should I get the PS3 or 360 version?

It polishes up 3, but it's still 3.
I found some fun in it, the coop ninja trials were a blast.
The Steel On Bone System was stupid and only just made the game have dumb zoom ins and slows down the action.
It also suffers from some of the worst enemies to fight. Alchemist enemies, Trex boss to name a few.
At least it isn't Yaiba.
If you can get it cheap it'll probably be enjoyable. It's just a fixer up of the worst NG games in the series.

At lest Yaiba was a clever side game. It had a decent system. NG3 however is a turd compared to NG1-2.

Realm population dropped on the normal and low everywhere not because no one plays anymore, but because seevers can take more players now!
Well, server population in neo-WoW is inconsequential anyway because, being a Facebook and queue simulator, you wouldn't see or interact with the players anyway. Plus, this cancerous style makes the game bad by default so even if server population mattered, who gives a shit at this point?

Unwound Future > Diabolical Box > Miracle Mask > Curious Village = Last Spectre
Play the first three in order, they're essentials. Keep going if you like the series.
The second and third are the best without a doubt, but I like them all.
I can't even beat the first fucking level. And this isn't even the real boss fight of this stage. I guess I'm not the God Hand after all. You can't even grind the previous areas for more money for upgrades. All I can do is play video poker. This is a fucking nightmare. I even tried cheesing these two with the boxes, godhand, roulette wheel and shit but no, get fucked.
