I need help for a character build. I like the idea of making my guy a rape machine, and heard either Ken/Mage dual or fighter/mage multi is the way to go.
I plan on taking this character through BG1>SoD>SoA>ToB
My question is, would it be better to do Kensai 9 then dual to mage, or stick to multi fighter/mage?

Why though? I imagine it's easier to play multi over dual, but certain spells rely on caster level, yeah? Also playing multi, doesn't that basically leave out 9th level spells until late into ToB?

Multi fighter/mage is more insane in the very late game since you can massacre things with stuff like timestop + whirlwind. A Kensai/mage will never get high level fighter abilities.
