No. As a game, it's buggy and broken as shit. You know Obsidian games generally have one or two game breaking glitches because they can't into QA (but it's totally never their fault, guise!)? Alpha Protocol was nothing but game breaking glitches cobbled together into a video game.

It had potential. Sadly, it shits the bed with its terrible and buggy gameplay. It's a total drudge with some of the worst AI I've seen in an RPG (if you can call it that). Shame since its dialog system and the great amount of freedom in the story was wonderful.
No. This is what happens when Obshitian has to make a game on their own. The internet eagerly laps up their piss anyway.
Combat and stuff is fucking balls but fun can actually be extracted. The flexibility in the story and dialogue is fantastic though, I've completed the game twice and it's great fun.
Obviously some people don't like it, but then some people think MOBA's are fun so what the fuck do they know

Melee build was fun too
I think it was kind of silly to introduce the whole handler perks mechanic and then have Mina be your handler for 90% of the game
Overall it's pretty fucking great game, I played through it like 4 times

I loved it. It was a little unpolished but it was the perfect blend of role playing and action. I loved how differently the story can turn out from your actions both in mission and when talking.
If AP got a sequel I would preorder it in a heartbeat. I'm really upset we haven't gotten a similar game since it came out.

i beat that game 10 times before i got tired of it, but it does have some flaws. if you don't level your combat skills and focus on stealth or gadgets you will be very unprepared for the boss battles, but if you don't level your gadget skills then hacking and lockpicking become basically impossible later in the game. it is good though, i enjoyed joining halbech at the end.
