Holy fucking shit, why is writing always the worst aspect in so many videogames, especially in AAA games?
Does no one give a shit? Do companies only hire retards? Is it just an excuse to push political agendas?
And don't give me that horseshit about only gameplay mattering, shitty games can be saved by amazing writing.
Professional writers are an expensive luxury, and it's hard to write for a game in any case. The gameplay issue isn't horseshit, because pretty much any amount of storytelling results in taking time away from the gameplay. If you want to make a game which people are going to play more than once and not be bored, you can't load it down with plot.

I just can't understand why they were so resistant against matchmaking! You can still have clans and make friends only lobby if there was matchmaking. i don't have hours to spend hunting for people that may or may not do a whole raid with me.

I'll say they're very Ok-ish, Spirit Track's music is great as well.
I'm a huge zelda fan and I fucking loved Phantom Hourglass (Unlike a lot of people on /v/ apparently)
Despite having played and finished a fair few zelda games, I've never managed to get further than a few hours into Spirit Tracks, I find it so dull.
