I would make a menu with 2 options and highlight the one that's selected, so it's hard to tell which one is selected and which isn't.

He should be able to pick up HP, but you still can't go over 2 "coins" worth of HP
but make it so that the extra HP picked up is stored somewhere as a value next to the coins else so you can still take devil deals and pills, but you can't take more than 2 hits per room

Has anyone else played Panzer Waltz. Discovered it on the android marketplace yesterday and I've had a blast playing it all day.
