This is a game where all the stakes are on the line. If you lose the ship, it has a 50% chance to drop whatever is on it (where the hull is). Else, the market exists for a reason.
Starter buddies can explore and hack data and relic sites, or if into less volatile money making, FW produces some 100M/hr (which is what the character should be making). Market savvy? Buy low, and sell high. There are drugs, ships, minerals -- gas huffing, mining (gross), wormholes (+ frig-size-only versions), security space (police or turrets attacking aggressors), 0-security space, and plenty of other options.
Hear that the gameplay is spreadsheets? Drivel. If the pilot is only using the click commands (approach.. orbit), the ship is taking an inefficient pathing and can't predict or cut corners on their direction line.

So you tell yourself "Tomorrow I'm gonna go and get me a burger." But of course, tomorrow something comes up and you just can't find the time to do it. But damn, that craving is still there. So you tell yourself "tomorrow for sure", but son of a bitch, you forgot you have that thing. No burger for you. And this continues for like an entire week. Until FINALLY, FINALLY you have a chance to go out and get you a burger. And you unwrap it, and you take a bite. And all that processed meat, all those preservatives, the cheese, the ketchup, pickles, or whatever you like on your burger. All those flavors rush in and it's pure paradise. It's everything you ever hoped for, man. That perfect bite. You're finally satisfied after all that buildup. That nagging craving in the back of your head is finally gone and brother, it was all worth it for this moment.
Imagine every single burger was like that. That's what Master Miller's hamburgers taste like.

I would kill for a Space Marine 2, but we'll never get it. The studio that would've made it, AND the publisher are both gone.

There have been many people asking the question "why is there not a female link?"?
Well I have been thinking I have an answer.
Link in the character in the game legend of zelda.
He is the main character but he plays a role in the story too. In all the games you play as link he interacts with the characters and they interact back and thus he must be a fixed sex so they interact in the correct way.
They would have to choose, male or female?
Can't have both.
This brings me to my other point, games with women main characters do not sell. Remember me? I don't, it was a shit game no one played. remember lightning? everyone hates her.

Every convesation i have with an NPC lasts forever, it also takes forever to go anywhere, even with fast travel, i had to put mods in because the world looks so fucking boring and empty (It's wasteland i know but it's also a videogame), the combat is slow as fuck aswell
Some people say "well once you spent 200 hours in the game it's going to get fun then", well fuck that if there is anything positive i can say about FO4 is that the game NEVER bored me, there is allways a mission to do, a house to clear or something to do in FO4. In NV i have long periods of time where i'm bored until i find something to do
New Vegas is NOT a bad game, it has good writing and, good world building and top tier RPG elements for what i've seen, but it's the same as Oblivion: I don't care about any of that if the videogame is not fun to play
Say what you will about games like Skyrim and FO4, they are casualized garbage, but at least i don't get bored with said casualized garbage, i can just pick up a rifle or bow and have fun in a matter of minutes
I played for 15 hours and i still feel like i didn't accomplish shit, 15 hours in FO4 felt like 1 hour with all the action that was going on

So I've been playing this game over the past week or so. Never played a Soul's game before, didn't even realize DaS III was coming out in two days. It's been a blast. The gameplay's fun as hell, the atmosphere and music expertly crafted, unique online experience. A great game all around.
But why is this series' difficulty such a marketing point? It's appropriately challenging, enough to keep the game engaging, but it's not especially hard. Fifteen, twenty years ago this level of challenge was the status quo. Games like Symphony of the Night, Metroid, Cave Story, all similar games that I would say are on par with Demon's Soul's challenge.

Dark souls 3 is bad. It's more fanfiction tier story with even more fanservice. You return to anor londo etc. It's all "hey remember how good dark souls was" instead of actually creating an interesting world of its own and expanding on the characters. Most of the fucking item descriptions of old weapons give the same lore as they did in dark souls/souls2.
